My research focuses on the role of the gut microbiome in human health and disease, with particular emphasis on Disorders of Gut–Brain Interaction (DGBI), Helicobacter pylori-related diseases, and microbiota-based therapeutics such as fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT). I am interested in understanding how alterations in gut microbial composition and function contribute to disease pathogenesis and treatment response. Future projects will focus on identifying microbial and host factors associated with treatment efficacy of FMT.
