Research interests center on the identification and characterization of novel antiviral and anti-inflammatory compounds, with a particular emphasis on elucidating their mechanisms of action at the molecular and cellular levels. This includes investigating host–virus interactions, viral replication pathways, and key signaling networks involved in immune regulation and inflammation, such as NF-κB, MAPK, and interferon-mediated responses. The research also focuses on evaluating the therapeutic potential of candidate compounds in modulating cytokine production, oxidative stress, and apoptosis associated with viral infections. Ultimately, this work aims to develop targeted therapeutic strategies to mitigate virus-induced inflammation, limit disease progression, and contribute to translational advances in infectious disease and biomedical research.
