My research interests focus on clinical orthopaedics, with particular emphasis on hand and microsurgery, upper-extremity conditions, osteoarthritis, joint arthroplasty, and evidence-based surgical care. I am interested in designing and conducting clinical studies that evaluate treatment effectiveness, patient-reported outcomes, functional recovery, and postoperative complications.
My previous research includes a double-blinded randomized controlled trial comparing single intra-articular betamethasone and triamcinolone acetonide injections for symptomatic knee osteoarthritis. The study evaluated pain, functional outcomes, physical performance, medication use, and adverse events over six months. I have also contributed to research on reducing patellar crepitus after total knee arthroplasty through synovial removal around the superior pole of the patella. My current interests include hand and upper-extremity surgery, clinical epidemiology, diagnostic accuracy, treatment outcomes, and the application of rigorous research methodology to improve orthopaedic patient care.
