My work involves research into Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), including laboratory studies on the efficacy of traditional and novel herbal formulas, the active ingredients in Chinese herbs, network pharmacology, toxicity testing of Chinese herbal formulas, and clinical trials aimed at treating NCDs (non-communicable diseases) and other illnesses. I am also interested in the use of acupuncture, Tui Na massage, and auricular acupuncture to treat conditions such as pain, insomnia, musculoskeletal disorders, and neurological disorders.
