Doctor of Medicine (International Program)
The Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science Program in Medical Science (International Program) have established a framework to develop medical students into the medical professionals of tomorrow. These individuals will possess the qualifications of physicians capable of responding to current societal changes on the global stage. The program integrates knowledge from various disciplines, while fusing the fundamental sciences with clinically acumen. Students undergo a robust interdisciplinary approach in their development as medical professionals; embracing the concept of an 'Innovative doctor for the people.' Collaborating with Rayong Hospital, which serves as the primary training facility for clinical practice; students also gain experience in caring for patients related to occupational medicine, an area where Rayong Hospital has been a leader for decades. All of these efforts ultimately aim to cultivate medical professionals with an international perspective, capable of providing healthcare in the ever changing world.

Admission Requirements
  • Applicants must be under 28 years old (age counted until 31st August 2025)

  • Education

    1)   Applicants must have completed study or be currently enrolled in senior high school or an equivalent program and expected to graduate in the current academic year with the programs approved by the Ministry of Education. OR

    2)   Applicants must have completed their study at domestic/overseas international schools or are currently studying and expected to graduate in the current academic year, either Grade 12 (the American education system) or Year 13 (the British education system).

    3)   The following subject examination results must be in their transcript: 1) Biology, 2) Chemistry and 3) Mathematic or Physic, or combined science exam result.

    4)   Applicants with High School Certificate Equivalency System must provide all required documents and follow the equivalency criteria announced by the Ministry of Education and guideline by Thammasat University, 2564 B.E. Topic no. 4. 

Applicants with the General Educational Development (GED) certification are not accepted for this program admission.

 

  • English Language Skills and Standard Knowledge

    Applicants must present one of the following English proficiency test results:

    1)   IELTS scores – (The International English Language Testing System), Academic or UKVI type, score of at least 6.5 OR

    2)   TOEFL Scores - Internet-based test score of at least 79 OR

    3)   TU-GET Scores - Paper-based test score of at least 550 or Computer-based test score of at least 79

    English proficiency test scores used in the application must not exceed 2 years counted from the date that candidates took the tests until the date of interview

            

  • The University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT)

    Only UCAT 2024 scores are accepted for the 2025 admission cycle.

Admission process and criteria depend on the consideration of the selection committee of the Doctor of Medicine (International Program).

  1. The University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT)

          Only UCAT 2024 scores are accepted for the 2025 admission cycle

        Page 1: Profile (Personal information / Self-introduction)

        Page 2: Education

        Page 3: Official Academic Records, Grades, Transcript

        Page 4:  English proficiency test score

        Page 5: UCAT 2024 scores report (pdf file)

        Page 6: Special knowledge, skills, research and professions

        Page 7: Academic activities

        Page 8: Activities on morality and ethics, nurturing and promoting arts, culture and society.

        Page 9: Sports & Health promotion activities or other activities that improve social skills

        Page10: Awards / Certificate / Other activities. 

Portfolio submission must be in the PDF file format and include all documents into a single file. (The portfolio is crucial for admission consideration. Hence, applicants are requested to submit it to Chulabhorn International College of Medicine before the  application deadline).

Interview evaluating the applicants’ attitudes on occupational appropriateness. Interview will be conducted in English.

                     Duration: October 29 - November 30, 2024 (9.00 AM -11.59PM).

Steps in the Application Process

Application Process

     1. Please carefully review information in the program admission announcement before submit your application.

 

     2. Candidates are required to register and save their information via an online admission system at www.cicm.tu.ac.th within the specified dates and times. Please save your admission information independently and carefully check all information for your own benefit.

 

     3. After filling out an online application form, candidates can pay the application fee, 2,000 THB through Thai Mobile Banking App, by scan QR code generated from the application system. After making the payment, candidates must save and upload their payment slip into the system. All processes must be completed within 30 Minutes. 

  • If any candidate does not complete the payment for admission within the specified dates and times, their admission and personal details for the online application are considered voided.

  • Once the payment has been completed, the admission process is considered successful, and the university will not refund any admission and examination fees to candidates under any circumstances.

     

     4. Portfolio submission must be in the PDF file format and include all documents into a single file. Portfolio should be submitted to med.inter.admission@gmail.com, before the application deadline.

  •  If found later that candidates do not meet any of the aforementioned requirements or given false information, whether intentionally or not, they will be disqualified from studying in the Doctor of Medicine (International Program) regardless of whether they have successfully passed the admission process.
