Doctor of Medicine (English Program)
Doctor of Medicine (English Program) in collaboration with Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University.
The curriculum is designed to produce medical graduates who possess knowledge and virtue to provide healthcare services for people at all community levels. The curriculum also engages students to develop their critical thinking and interpersonal skills as well as leadership qualities. Students in this program will learn about clinical research at the forefront of medical investigation and interdisciplinary health science research study, which will also be responsive to the evolving world's social needs.

Admission Requirements

1.    Thai nationality, age not over 28 years old 

2.    Educational qualifications

       2.1 Applicants must have completed study or be currently enrolled in senior high school or an equivalent program and expected to graduate in the current academic year with the programs approved by the Ministry of Education. OR

       2.2  Applicants must have completed their study at domestic/overseas     international schools or are currently studying and expected to graduate in the current academic year, either Grade 12 (the American education system) or Year 13 (the British education system).

  • For applicants who are still studying in senior high school must provide the following document;

    • An official document/letter issued by school confirming that student is expected to graduate this academic year.

    • An official transcript is showing the result of every semester throughout the program

  • For applicants who have completed senior high school, a supporting document issued by school must be submitted as proof of completion.

         2.3  Applicants with High School Certificate Equivalency System must provide all required documents and follow the equivalency criteria announced by the Ministry of Education and guideline by Thammasat University, 2564 B.E. Topic no. 4.

 

           The following subject examination results must be in their transcript: 1) Biology, 2) Chemistry and 3) Mathematic or Physic, or combined science exam results.

          

  • Applicants with the General Educational Development (GED) certification are not accepted for this program admission.

 

3.    Applicants must have one of the English proficiency test scores (Valid for two years from the test date to the interview date) as follow:

2.   Portfolio in Thai or English,  not more than 10 pages excluding front-back cover and please order the documents according to this template;

-    Page 4:  English proficiency test score

-    Page 5:  UCAT result (Statement of result)

-    Page 6:  Special knowledge, skills, research and professions

-    Page 8:  Activities on morality and ethics, nurturing and promoting arts,   culture and society.

-    Page 9:  Sports & Health promotion activities or other activities that improve social skills

-    Page10: Awards / Certificate / Other activities.

Steps in the Application Process

Application Process

     1. Please carefully review information in the program admission announcement before submit your application.

 

     2. Candidates are required to register and save their information via an online admission system at www.cicm.tu.ac.th within the specified dates and times. Please save your admission information independently and carefully check all information for your own benefit.

 

     3. After filling out an online application form, candidates can pay the application fee, 2,000 THB through Thai Mobile Banking App, by scan QR code generated from the application system. After making the payment, candidates must save and upload their payment slip into the system. All processes must be completed within 30 Minutes. 

  • If any candidate does not complete the payment for admission within the specified dates and times, their admission and personal details for the online application are considered voided.

  • Once the payment has been completed, the admission process is considered successful, and the university will not refund any admission and examination fees to candidates under any circumstances.

 

     4. Portfolio submission must be in the PDF file format and include all documents into a single file. Portfolio should be submitted to cicm.tu.meddent.admission@gmail.com, before the application deadline.

  •  If found later that candidates do not meet any of the aforementioned requirements or given false information, whether intentionally or not, they will be disqualified from studying in the Doctor of Medicine (English Program) regardless of whether they have successfully passed the admission process.
